Nohana Keepsakes – Shipping Instructions & Inclusions

Your keepsake is a precious and irreplaceable treasure. Please follow these instructions carefully so your materials arrive safely and ready to be transformed into your jewelry.

1. Amount to Send

Breastmilk (thawed, to avoid condensation): 1 oz (about 30 ml). If you have less, send us a message and we’ll make it work.

Formula (powder): 1 teaspoon.

Ashes: 1 teaspoon.

2. Packaging Instructions

First Layer – Sterile Bag

Place the breastmilk or ashes into a clean, sterile, sealable bag.

Push out as much air as possible before sealing.

Second Layer – Extra Protection

Put the sealed bag inside another sealed bag (Ziploc or similar).

For extra security, you may use a double seal (two extra bags).

Ensure each bag is tightly sealed to avoid leakage.

Outer Packaging

Place the double-sealed package inside a bubble envelope for cushioning.

For Local Calgary Customers

We can arrange a direct hand-off instead of mailing. 

3. Identification Label

Please include the following details, either written directly on the bag with permanent marker (Sharpie), or written on a separate piece of paper placed in a small sealed bag:

Full Name

Order Number (emailed to you after purchase)

Email Address

Phone Number

4. What We Return to You

Any plastic bags that remain clean and unstained, because we care for our planet.

Any remaining ashes, out of deep respect for your meaningful items.

5. Shipping Tips

Within Canada: Canada Post Regular Parcel service typically costs $2–$3 (depending on weight and province).

From outside Canada: Please use a tracked service and clearly mark your package as “Personal Art and Craft Supplies for resin jewelry” for customs purposes.

Avoid shipping on Thursdays or Fridays to prevent packages from sitting in a postal facility over the weekend.

6. Address for Shipping

We will email you the full shipping address once your order is confirmed.

Delivery & Processing Times

Delivery times are controlled by the shipping company, and we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates. For expedited shipping, please kindly send and email to hellonohana@gmail.com to personally arrange your best option.

For keepsake orders (breastmilk, ashes, or soaps): production time is 4–6 weeks once we receive your inclusions. Shipping time will vary depending on the method you choose at checkout.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs for inclusions are the responsibility of the customer.
